Dharmendra Pradhan

Dharmendra Debendra Pradhan, Indian Politician & BJP leader. Currently, Sevring as the Union Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas & Minister of Steel. Previously he also held Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship in NDA-1 government. He is a Member of Parliament Sabha from Madhya Pradesh. Fomrer Member of 14 Lokshabha from Deogarh, Orissa. Former Member of ABVP. He is One of the closest of Amit Shah. Architecture of BJP’S victory in 2014 Lokshabha Elections in Bihar.

Early Life

Shri Dharmendra Pradhan was Born on 26 June 1969. Born in Talcher District, Orissa. His father, Dr. Debendra Pradhan, Former BJP MP. His Mother, Basant Manjari Pradhan. He’s Married to Mridula Pradhan.

Education

Completed his B.A from Talcher College, Orissa . Holds Master’s degree in Anthropology from Utkal University, Bhuvaneshvar.

Political Career

Dharmendra Pradhan joined ABVP in 1985 & was elected as President of Talcher College’s Student Union. Soon, became National Secretary, ABVP & participated in various student movements. Subsequently, Joined BJP in 2004 & became President of BJYM in 2006. When his father left his seat, Dharmendra Pradhan won 2004 Lokshabha Election. Meanwhile, He became in-charge of Tripura, Karnataka, Chattisgarh, Jharkhand, Uttrakhand & Orissa. Afterward, he became Genral Secretary of BJP in 2011.

 



Main Stream Politics

In 2012 he was elected as Rajya Sabha Member from Bihar. As a Parliamentarian, he was part of various Parliamentary Committees. Thereafter, he was appointed as Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas in 2014. After taking charge he said he will work for Poor & Middle class people of Country.

Social Worker

Dharmendra Pradhan is deeply involved in Social Works. He works for Unemployment & Technical Education of Youths. Also, he works for Protection of Farmers & Backward classes. Further, he played an Important role in creating a Positive image of Politicians in Youth. With that Encouraged youth to Become Leader of their own.
